Jake, in his own words

Choosing ownership over a franchise

He initially began researching franchise opportunities before discovering another business program and eventually coming across Build Remote. After speaking with both teams, Jake felt Build Remote was the better fit for what he was looking for.

One of the biggest deciding factors was ownership. Rather than paying ongoing royalty fees, Jake would be building a business that was completely his own. Just as importantly, he saw the support structure within Build Remote as exactly what he needed to confidently make the transition into entrepreneurship.

Jake began building his business while simultaneously navigating a major career transition and stepping away from a significant leadership role. Despite having a lot happening at once, he stayed focused and wasted no time getting his business off the ground.

The support is there with Build Remote.

What started as an exploration of different business opportunities quickly became the beginning of a business Jake could truly call his own.

Why Jake Succeeded

Jake’s results weren’t random. He was committed to becoming a business owner, and he refused to give up when things got challenging.

With a strong operational background and a natural ability to build relationships, Jake already had many of the skills needed to succeed. He simply needed a proven path to follow, and the confidence to get on the phone, connect with customers, and start selling.

His success was built through consistency, commitment, and execution.

What his story shows

His journey is a powerful reminder that entrepreneurship doesn’t require you to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes, you simply need the right blueprint, the right support, and the commitment to keep moving forward.

Jake’s story started with a decision: he wanted to build something of his own. Now, he’s living the reality of being a business owner, and building toward something even bigger.

The next step

Let’s map out your business.

Forty-five minutes to look at the market you want to serve, what the numbers realistically look like, and whether we’re the right team to build it with you.

  1. The marketWhere you’d operate, what the demand looks like and what it supports.
  2. The buildExactly what gets built, in what order, and what it costs.
  3. The fitWhether this suits how you actually want to work. Sometimes it doesn’t.
