1. What this covers
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This policy also covers similar technologies — pixels, tags, tracking scripts, local storage and software development kits — which we refer to collectively as cookies.
2. Your choice
Non-essential cookies are off until you agree to them. When you first arrive you are shown a consent control; nothing in the advertising or analytics categories is set until you accept. We assert Google Consent Mode v2 in a denied state by default and only update it when you consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie preferences control on the site, and by clearing cookies in your browser.
3. Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and are not subject to consent.
- Consent record
- Stores your cookie choice so you are not asked on every page. Set by us. Local storage key br_consent_v1. Persists until cleared.
- Audience preference
- Remembers whether you selected “starting a new business” or “existing business” so the page stays as you set it. Set by us. Local storage key br-audience. Persists until cleared.
- Security and delivery
- Our hosting provider sets cookies necessary to serve and secure the site.
4. Advertising and measurement — set only with consent
- Meta Pixel
- Measures actions taken after you click one of our advertisements on Facebook, Instagram or Threads, and allows us to show advertising to relevant audiences. Three Meta pixels run on this domain. Set by Meta Platforms, Inc. Cookies include _fbp and fr. Typically up to 90 days.
- Meta Conversions API
- A server-side counterpart to the pixel. When you complete an action such as booking a call, we may send a matching server-side event, including a hashed email address or telephone number, so the conversion can be attributed without relying only on browser cookies. Sent only where you have consented.
5. Functional third parties
These providers act under their own privacy policies. Where their cookies are not strictly necessary they are subject to your consent choice.
- Wistia
- Hosts the video on this site. Wistia sets storage to remember playback position and to measure how much of a video is watched. Video players are not loaded until you choose to play, or until the relevant section of the page is reached.
- iClosed
- Powers the booking calendar embedded on the site. When you book, iClosed processes the details you enter in order to schedule the call.
6. Analytics
The site asserts Google Consent Mode v2 signals so that any Google tag added in future respects your choice from the first page view. Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking are part of our planned measurement setup and our event taxonomy already maps to them. Where they are active they set cookies such as _ga and _gcl_au to measure site usage and attribute conversions to advertising, and they are loaded only with your consent.
Review before publishing: at the time of writing Google Analytics and Google Ads tags are not loaded on this site — only Consent Mode defaults are asserted. If they are enabled before launch this section is accurate as written; if not, the wording should be narrowed. Flagged in meta.json.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see what cookies are set, delete them and block them. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this site working. Guidance is available in the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta ad preferences.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers vary in how they signal a tracking preference and there is no agreed standard for Do Not Track. Where we are legally required to honour an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we do so.
