1. Who is responsible for your information
Build Remote Ventures LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our address is 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States and you can reach us at admin@build-remote.com.
2. Information you give us
When you book a call or use the contact form we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, telephone number and whatever you tell us about your business or enquiry. If you become a client, we collect further information under our services agreement, which this policy does not cover.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit, we and our providers may automatically collect your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, how long you stay, and how you interact with the page. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, and only to the extent you have consented where consent is required. Our Cookie Policy explains each technology.
4. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange and conduct calls with you. To provide and improve the website. To measure and improve our advertising, including attributing enquiries to the advertising that produced them. To send you marketing communications where you have agreed or where we are otherwise permitted, and to keep records of those preferences. To protect the site against fraud and abuse. To comply with our legal obligations.
5. Legal bases (where UK/EU law applies)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies we rely on: your consent, for advertising and analytics cookies and for marketing email and SMS; performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, to respond to an enquiry and deliver services; our legitimate interests, in operating and securing the site and understanding how it is used, balanced against your rights; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
6. Advertising and measurement
We advertise on third-party platforms and measure which advertising produces enquiries. To do that we share limited information with advertising platforms, including through server-side conversion interfaces. Where information is shared this way it may include a hashed version of your email address or telephone number, which is used to match a conversion to an advertising click. We do not sell your information for money.
Depending on your jurisdiction, this activity may be treated as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can stop it by declining or withdrawing advertising consent through the cookie banner or preferences control, or by contacting us.
7. Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our instructions — website hosting, appointment scheduling, video hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management and analytics. Advertising platforms, as described above and subject to your consent. Professional advisers, where necessary. Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose. A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganised. We require providers to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where information is transferred out of the UK or European Economic Area we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request details of the safeguards used.
9. How long we keep it
Enquiry and contact records are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, typically no more than five years unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing relationship or dispute. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained by the relevant platform under its own retention rules. Consent records are kept as long as needed to evidence the consent.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; receive it in a portable format; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, and of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, use the contact form or write to admin@build-remote.com. We may need to verify your identity. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
11. Marketing communications
If you give us your details we may contact you about our services by email, telephone and SMS. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by contacting us. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages relating to a call you have booked.
12. Children
This website is intended for adults in business. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and restricted access to systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the current one and the effective date is shown above. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
